These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through our website and to your use of the website.
Please read them before placing an order.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. Our Products
The Crystal Way sells crystals, gemstones, jewellery, incense, tarot and oracle cards, spiritual gifts and related accessories.
We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs and pricing.
However, many crystals and gemstones are natural materials, and individual pieces may vary in colour, pattern, markings, inclusions, size and shape.
Where a product photograph is representative, the item supplied may differ naturally from the photograph.
Where a product is described as “Exact Piece Pictured”, the photograph represents the particular piece being offered for sale.
We make reasonable efforts to display product colours accurately, although colours may appear differently depending on your screen.
All products remain subject to applicable consumer rights, including the requirement that goods match their descriptions and are of satisfactory quality.
3. Crystal Properties and Spiritual Information
Information about the traditional meanings, symbolism and spiritual associations of crystals is provided for general interest.
References to properties such as protection, confidence, calm, abundance or emotional balance reflect traditional beliefs and are not guarantees of particular results.
Our products and information are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
They are not substitutes for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Please use incense, candles and other relevant products in accordance with their instructions and safety warnings.
4. Prices and VAT
All prices displayed to UK customers are in pounds sterling (GBP).
Product prices include applicable VAT.
Delivery charges, where applicable, are displayed separately before you confirm your order.
We reserve the right to change product prices and offers, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before accepting or fulfilling the affected order. You may choose whether to proceed at the corrected price or cancel.
We will not charge an increased price without your agreement.
5. Placing an Order
To place an order, select your products, add them to your basket and complete the checkout process.
You will have an opportunity to review your basket, delivery details and total price before submitting your order.
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and that you are authorised to use your selected payment method.
After checkout, we will send an acknowledgement to the email address provided.
An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order, normally through a dispatch confirmation or another express acceptance notification.
If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken for the affected items.
Orders may be declined for legitimate reasons, including stock unavailability, payment failure or an obvious pricing error.
6. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Payments are processed securely through WooPayments and its payment-processing partners.
Available methods may include debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Payment methods may change over time, and the available options will be shown before you place your order.
We do not store your full payment card details in our WooCommerce website database.
7. Delivery
We currently accept orders for delivery to eligible United Kingdom addresses.
Delivery options, charges and estimated times are shown during checkout and explained on our Shipping page.
Free standard delivery is available on qualifying orders of £50 or more, subject to the conditions displayed at checkout.
We normally aim for delivery within 3–5 working days, although this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date.
Some products are dispatched directly by us, while others are fulfilled by our trusted UK supplier, Ancient Wisdom / AW Dropship.
Consequently, orders containing multiple products may arrive in separate parcels or on different days.
Unless a different delivery period has been expressly agreed, we will deliver goods without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made, as required by applicable law.
If delivery is delayed or cannot be completed, we will communicate with you and provide the remedies required by consumer law.
Responsibility for loss or damage in transit normally remains with us until the goods come into your physical possession or that of someone you have identified to receive them, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Please see our Shipping page for further information.
8. Availability and Stock
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product availability is accurate.
However, stock levels may occasionally change before an order can be fulfilled, particularly for products supplied through our fulfilment partners.
If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to explain the situation and offer an appropriate alternative, revised delivery arrangement or refund.
We will not substitute an item with a different product without your agreement.
9. Cancelling an Online Order
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, most customers purchasing goods online have the right to cancel without giving a reason.
You may cancel from the time you place your order until 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods.
Where multiple goods are ordered together and delivered separately, the cancellation period normally ends 14 days after receipt of the last item.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.
Email: richard@thecrystalway.co.uk
You may use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you are not required to do so.
After notifying us of cancellation, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us you wish to cancel.
Please contact us before returning goods so we can provide the appropriate return instructions and address.
You are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind cancellation, unless we agree otherwise.
We may make a deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, where permitted by law.
Some categories of goods may be exempt from the statutory cancellation right, such as genuinely personalised products or certain sealed hygiene-sensitive goods after their seal has been broken. Any applicable exception will be explained before purchase.
One-of-a-kind crystals are not automatically excluded from cancellation rights merely because they are unique or individually photographed.
10. Refunds Following Cancellation
Where you validly cancel an eligible order, we will refund the amount due for the returned goods and the applicable standard outbound delivery charge.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional upgrade cost.
We will issue the refund without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving satisfactory evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier, subject to applicable law.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.
We will not charge a refund fee.
For partial cancellations, any delivery refund will be calculated in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.
Further details are provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
11. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
We take care when selecting and packing our products.
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or materially different from its description, please contact us promptly.
Email: richard@thecrystalway.co.uk
Photographs may help us resolve the issue quickly, but we will not make photographs an absolute condition of exercising your statutory rights.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
Depending on the circumstances and the time since delivery, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction.
Where goods do not conform to the contract, we will meet our legal responsibilities, including applicable reasonable return costs.
Natural characteristics that were accurately described or apparent in the product information are not necessarily faults. However, this does not affect your rights where goods are damaged, defective or not as described.
12. One-of-a-Kind Pieces
Some crystals are individually selected and sold as unique pieces.
Where a listing states that the exact piece is pictured, we will supply that piece.
If an individually listed item becomes unavailable before the order is accepted or fulfilled, we will contact you and offer an appropriate resolution, including a refund.
Unique pieces remain subject to normal consumer cancellation rights and statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
13. Product Safety and Appropriate Use
Please follow all safety information supplied with products.
Incense, candles and similar items must be used responsibly, kept away from flammable materials and never left burning unattended.
Small crystals, beads and jewellery components may present choking hazards and should be kept away from young children where appropriate.
Crystal products are decorative or spiritual items unless specifically described as suitable for another purpose.
Do not ingest crystals, place unsuitable stones in drinking water or use products in ways contrary to their instructions.
Nothing in this section excludes our legal responsibility for supplying safe and compliant products.
14. Website Information and Availability
We aim to keep our website accurate, secure and available.
Occasionally, maintenance, technical faults or circumstances outside our reasonable control may interrupt access.
We may update website content, product ranges and features.
We will not retrospectively change the terms of an accepted order without your agreement, except where legally required.
15. Intellectual Property
The Crystal Way website contains text, photographs, branding, graphics and other material that may be protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
Unless otherwise permitted by law, you must not reproduce or commercially exploit our original content without permission.
Some product photographs, descriptions and trademarks belong to our suppliers or other rights holders and are used with permission or under applicable arrangements.
16. Liability
We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for losses that are not a foreseeable consequence of our breach, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these terms limits the remedies available to you under consumer protection legislation.
17. Privacy and Cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy (UK).
Cookie preferences can be managed through the consent controls provided on the website.

19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website or applicable law.
The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when the contract was formed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
The latest version will be available on our website.
20. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain any mandatory protections available under the laws applicable to you.
You may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer jurisdiction rules.
